Dear iseagreen community, 

I have spent a long time waiting to write this because truth is, I do not like spam. I believe it to be the most annoying thing in the world. I wanted to make this as special as possible to recognize your time & hope you find this well. 

I started iseagreen in college because I didn’t love what was in the hat market. It seemed the only way I could get cool, 90s styled hats was by buying them used on ebay. I had a hard time trusting someone else get it right, so, I bought an embroidery machine with money I had saved from shifts at din tai fung. Irrational and quite mad, I know.

Having parents and siblings with deep backgrounds in music, I knew I always wanted to do something creative but wasn’t sure where to begin. After all, I had always been a sports guy. One day, though, it finally hit me: you’ve been collecting hats since you were a kid yet you buy them secondhand. Address your problem with a solution. Make old school hats you’d wish you had found online. Atlas, iseagreen was born. 

Life has humbled me in many ways, yet I always try to find the silver lining. There is plenty of negativity in this world, but if a company can shed light, hope, and instill a belief that love is more powerful than anything this world could ever offer, I can die someday knowing we gave it our all.

Ego is necessary for survival, but what lies within is humanity's real superpower. We’re on a mission to share what connects us all.

A hat is just a hat, unless it’s made with love.
